The Intellectual Property Law Section is seeking applications for its Young Lawyer Fellowship Program and is asking members to apply for one of the two two-year positions as “NYSBA Intellectual Property Law Section Fellows.”
This fellowship is designed to provide leadership opportunities for young lawyers, and reflects the Section’s long-standing commitment to increasing the participation and retention of young lawyers in Section activities. Through this program, the Section seeks to develop future leaders of the Section. Fellows will be granted opportunities to become involved in the Section’s activities and to be an important voice within the Section.
To be eligible, you must be a newly admitted attorney (up to 5 years) or a law student, and be a member of the NYSBA and the IP Section. The duration of the fellowship will be from the time of selection in December 2017 until mid-January 2020, prior to the 2020 Annual Meeting.
For further fellowship details and submission instructions, visit www.nysba.org/IPYLFellowship. All applications are due by 5pm on January 15, 2018.
